Title: Through the stars
Name: Mitiuc Alexander
Country: Moldova
Software: 3ds max, Digital Fusion, Photoshop, VRay

In the near future mankind made a number of discoveries that allowed to travel to distant worlds. As long ago, as 20th century some scientists supposed that space and time could be distorted, still they could not prove it. Russian and German satellite Ponnet studying the activity of the Sun absolutely accidentally came off orbit and got into gravitation field of the star. Huge forces quickened the approach. Engines of the apparatus just could not prevent it. In the cosmic agency everybody understood that the satellite is lost for ever. However after 2 years Ponnet began to give signals from the near-sun orbit. Scientists first thought that these signals were reflected transmissions of the satellite from the past years which never got to the Earth but roamed from one planet to another like a pin-pong ball. It turned out however that the satellite really exists. Ponnet was brought to the laboratory where it was proved that under certain circumstances and time the apparatus surrounded by the cloud of plasma made a leap through millions of Parsek and back. The satellite gathered data of the distant star and came back. As it turned out stars are willing to refract space and time. If fly into a star it could be possible to fly out of the other one which is very distant just in a fraction of a second. After this discovery huge opportunities to research cosmic space were opened to mankind. In my work I depicted a group of researchers who not long ago came flying on the final vechicle "Zvezda K73". The satellite turned out to be not very friendly, small amount of oxygen and huge concentration made her unfit for existence… but work is work and the researchers slowly achieved the aim.

I really like the the way the ship lights up. It almost looks like it should belong underwater, but I think it works well.
