View Full Version : Cellphone
Surrealix 09-14-2006, 10:54 AM I've been using blender for a while now, but never really seem to bother posting anything I finish. So in an effort to rectify that (and get some feedback into the things I overlook) here's my latest model. I spent probably around 8 hours on it, from idea to final render.

Comments much appreciated, and crits even more so. The only glaring thing I can see to fix is the 'mirror' on the back (which rendered plain blue due to lack of a skybox).

Hey, good job! =D
Well, I agree with the specularity thing.
One more thing I´ve noted is that maybe you should tweak a bit more your AO settings, because it still noisy in some places. Maybe another solution is post-processing this parts. =D
Cheers!

I couldn't really comment on the cell phone until I new what the real one looked like. You have done excellent job at modeling the Panasonic X200. The Black material definitely needs a bit more specularity, with a touch reflectiveness added.

Thanks for the comments :)
I'll give the suggestions a shot and see how it turns out.
