lo all,

im particulary new to this package, so this could be something newbish here :P

When i render a composition with an mp3 on it i get weird stuttering sound as a result.
i've tried lots of different settings and mp3's but still no good result.
at first it sounds ok for a few seconds but then ...
there had gotta be some simple solution.

im kinda puzzled at this point.
im almost at the point of just throwing on sound in a different package.

would love some pointers on this subject.

thx,
ron.

i've heard other people mention problems with using mp3's in AE. try using an audio editor/convertor to turn it into a WAV file, then use that instead.

Ok, first off, After Effects can't handle mp3. Do as mackdadd says and convert it to WAV first.

As for this avi problem, could you be a bit more specific? AVI isn't an audio format, so is this trouble hearing the audio on an avi you've imported? If it's an avi you've rendered out of After Effects, odds are you haven't ticked 'Audio Output' in the settings in the render queue.

I think he means that he can't hear the music from an avi file while playbacking. So can't I and I think its not suported in AE because its compressed audio just like MP3. But you can see the audio track, and you can also render it out when your ready for rendering.

thx guys, it worked out this way !

A while ago i went to an adobe seminar and i saw someone drag their composition file from AE to Premiere. That just came to mind yesterday.
so i thought i'd give it a go and then place the mp3 in premiere and render there.

unfortunately, premiere gave me n error saying i have to have Production Suite for that to work.
kinda sux ey ? since i have both the programs without this awesome cross application functionality :(

anywayz,

thanks alot for the advice !
