Just to give a little preview of what i did the last sleepless nights.
Been working on this little guy for some nights now. He is to be set in a futuristic scene maybe outer space, even if he does not look like this by now. Can't give more background cause the story he will be in isn't really finished.

Expect more of him and also some of his enemies and friends.
Visit www.prayorpanic.com and sneek through the wip section.

Give me massive critics cause i for myself am satisfied and wont work on the upper body more.

Its an intresting character and pretty well modelled, Looking at him it appears that the lower torso is very short for the upper body but that may just be how this character is supposed to be. Also alot of the geometry of the lower face looks a bit squared off. The character perhaps could also be improved by some exageration of his existing features, large belly, drooping jaw, oversized arms (even more than now :) )

I think the lack of replies is partly due to the fact that there is nothing dynamic about the character and it looks similar to many other designs. I think he would work well as a supporting actor but not the star! :)

The skill is there but I think you need some more origonal design on your next project lots of reference sketchs and post the ideas for people to look over if your not sure you can pick the right one.

Good luck

THX for that detailed comment. I have to agree with you in most of the parts you told me. Belly is large enough for me. Maybe oversizing the arms a bit more. I' m also not very satisfied with the muscle definition on the upper arms. I know where to find reference. No hurry it is still wip. For the question on an original design hmm. I for myself thought it was quite cool to model this guy. Maybe he reminds everybody to much of someones character. He is planed to be only a supporting character in later progress but this one was the first design i had in mind. He will be only a guard in the end.

For now i think i will finish him. He still needs some work. I' m searching for a good weapon design for him any ideas?
