Hey gang,

I am new to modelling and new to 3D Max 5.0.

Here is my first try. Still a long way to go.

your getting there keep it up.

Keep the pictures commign as you progress, i want to see how it looks in the final =)

Eric_Cartman: Excellent progress, I will be keeping an eye on this thread to see how it progresses.
I'm working on the rest of the tutorial as we speak so look out for it very soon.

Kick ass!

Can't wait to do the rest of the steps. This is my first car modelling (well my first modelling ever) so it's not the best. Still learning :)

If it wasn't for your tutorial, I would still be a lost 3d soul :)

the first section of the tutorial is now done so you can work on your car more.

looks great thus far,, even though I don't like small cars like these,, personal taste I suppose. Great place to learn though. I still need to pick up poly modeling methods. hehe I'm too busy with my nurbs..

your controled surfaces looks damn good...
