View Full Version : Character: Rocketeer!
Cabbe 01-29-2003, 07:58 AM Just started to make a new character today. It supposed to be the rocketeer. I don't have final textures or the rocket it self yet. But I'll try and make them now. Modeled in maya, textures made with photoshop!

schaweeet stuff
So Tommy is coming over soon? Sucks I Can't go/afford it...Would love to go to siggraph in San Diego though...I could stay at my friends there, but the trip itself would cost to much, and the ticket for siggraph...are you going there? Are you working now? I heard that you're trying to do some musicvideo stuff?

Tommy kommer nog beratta for dig 1000 ganger i alla fall!:bounce:

Cool model Cabbe, maybe you should define the shape some more, and... if there is no polycount that's holding you back, slap on some more polies.
Keep posting

Hello all my swedish bredren and fellow 3d freaks!
I have been caught up in some other models the last days, so I have not had time for the rocket. But I'll snap to it right now!
I am trying to keep it low poly, so I have to model carefully.
Har nan annan svensk nagon 3d och visa? Vilka program andvander ni? Kul och hora fran er.
Min email ar cabbe@hotmail om nagon vill snacka lite!

You know, I have thought how annoying it is to me personally to see posts entirely in another language, but the internet IS a free WORLD community, if people are more comfortable speaking in their own language, I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to, it really just limits who can communicate with them, only hurting themselves as I see it. I don't really care if people speak other languages or not. As far as a bitch fest, when was this? And what was the decision, or was there not one?

hey Cabbe, so it was low poly...that's what i thought. Couldn't tell in such an early stage, from the picture. Ok, Let's do the rockets now...hey, if i can help you out, i can take the model and lit it for you...?! Lighting is fun, and i'm glad if i can help out...keep in touch, i'll write you an email when i got the time...maybe a few ideas for a shortfilm aswell ;-)
Take care / Tobbe
