Here's something I've been working on during lunches and breaks at home over the past while.
Still has tons of tweaking and probably some design changes but for the most part the look will stay basically the same.

Some type of neo-industrial post-nuclear cleaning machine with an insectoid design. I might integrate some bio matter into it's design as well for the inards, but for the time being it is strictly mechanical in nature.

Still needs a Normal map and about 25% of the texture as well as some additional geometry changes for functionality.

Any feedback appreciated.

Added some additional legs to the rear and got rid of the placeholder "gripper", which still needs some refining.

That is so cool looking. The only crit I have is that the smaller eyes' could do with some more contrast.

I Think contrast would take away from the creepiness of the peice as a whole.. looking great!

i love it, my only crit is that it would fall over.. but its not a real issue just a nitpick i spose

The smaller 'eye' by the grabber is actually just a gear. The only real eyes or sensors would be the four on the top portion.

As for it toppling over, I've had some concerns about this myself. It is intended for it to be fully mechanized and able to adjust positions and sort of self correct the balance issue. dunno, lol.
Here are some quick adjustments of the drawing showing original state, slightly altered poses/designs to accomodate the balance issues.

Here are also some changes that might help the weight issue somewhat. I just extended the rear shell to envelope a bladder system. This could aslo sit on top of a weight plate or something to account for the top heavy construction. (which i would like to keep) Hell, even sci-fi needs some design rationalization hey? All made of super strong light weight space age polymer of course. ;)

Cool design. The texturing looks great.
