View Full Version : Something is wrong with Maya...
Bubble Gum Jr. 01-29-2003, 06:34 AM Ok here's my problem after installing Maya, everything works fine. But once I open the program, the bottom half of the screen is garbled in what appears to be my desktop background. The program runs but the garbled part of the screen does not move or change, however it will change accordingly to my background like if close a window it won't show on the task bar, etc. If I select a different perspective it will go away but it will return once I select certain other perspectives. Here's an example of what it looks like.

you don't mention that you have already tried installing the freshest (or not so) graphic card drivers - why?

Radeon got seriuos problems. I know a few people who also had Reason cards, and they had allot with problems with maya, like flickering hardware textures, and I think something similar to this.
They had to buy a new graphics card since the ATI drivers sucked back then, I don't about now.
But it's defentely something with the graphics card, if you can't fix it with the drivers or someone aboard have a sollution, you should consider a new card.
