Hi all im new at cinema and at 3d, im in a local college learning cinema 4d xl 7, (which luckily have at home as well), and our first project was to take primatives and add textures and bumps, but since i had a little work with a little modeling, my teach said he doesnt want me to go back but forward, so i could do a little modeling. We had to make individual pics of each primative and then combine them, this is my final combined pic, what do you think, comments are very welcome, so i can make final touches before class tomorrow thanks.

two things that strike me stright away is the Bump is very heavy. I guess they are tyring to teach you that but if i was i would either lower the bump. or loose the scecular on you material.

Also your Shot looks very wide.. Like almost like a bug eye view. Prehaps put a camara in a fair distance away and zoom in rather then out.

I also recon get some light on that shore.. Looks Cool

And just a personal addition i would put in a Plane model, taking off or something. :)

now that i notice the grass is a bit bumpy. And the object on the left is well LOL a plane i guess i need to add some more lighting around it. Thanks for the advice im working on it right now. here is a picture of the air plane im turing it on the single part of the project.

That Plane looks Great! :applause:

that picture is a great Example i recon that you dont need to put a lot of detail into a picture for it to look effective.

Anything else lurking in the dark on that picture? :)

i moved the airplane down on the ground to look like its just sitting there. and try to lighten it a bit to were it doesnt show the continuing grass behind the base.
