Hold alt (think it's option on a Mac), select help>about and you'll get the splash screen for the alpha version and some crazy credits if you wait long enough.

That's it, pretty dull really ;)

Hmmm...not in mine (PS7). I know what you mean though. You can do the same thing in Illustrator and Premire.
