Hello, this is a room that I was making and I wanted to create a atmosphere similar to xbox 360 title to come out Bullet Witch, this (http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c72/artraider/bw2.jpg)
is the war torn atmosphere/blown out feeling I was going for.
Camera shot in room (http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c72/artraider/rough2-3.jpg)
extra shot of buildings outside (http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c72/artraider/rough3.jpg)
Mostly I wanted ideas as to what to add to the room and any critiques.

Thanks, Nick

Hey Nick,

first off the bat, I would say embed your images in the post so its easy to compare shots to one another. Just click the image button and paste in the image URL.

As for the penthouse, it read a little confusing at first mainly because of the lighting. I would say keep the lighting neutral until you have a good majority of your props and scene elements modeled out.

As for the room itself, its looks quite narrow / small for a pent house. I would also say, a well defined balcony would be a nice touch. Watch out for the curtains as you are currently mixing two materials. I would say do the thin blinds OR the cloth curtains but not both.

The step up platform could be extended and furniture could be placed here. A bed, a chair, small table, lamps, etc. Maybe a dead body chalk outline with blood dripping down the stairs :).

Think about the glass sliding door as well. In the end, you'll need to work on the matte shot - that is the buildings that are outside to fake the appearance of it being high up in a building.

Start with that and keep posting updates.

Good luck!
