Anyone know of any plugins available that allow you to input data and it will create graphs and charts for you?
Seen a demo of BusinessGraphs, but was wondering if anyone had any hands on experience with this or any other?

You can easily do this using cylinder objects and some xpresso controlled by user data.

Cheers Srek,
However, xpresso strikes fear into my heart :)
I was looking for an easy way out ;)

Maybe take this as an example: http://www.bonkers.de/download/piechart.c4d
You don't have to understand the Xpresso behind the setup, just add or remove pie parts (create new ones by duplicating an existent) as you like it. Check the Pies user data for display options.
Hope this helps

Nicey. I did a similar setup not so long ago using Lathe NURBSs, but your wiring is much more sophisticated.

It's not very sexy, but maybe there should be a Chart/Graph object in the Mograph module. Just type in your values, and generate a pie or bar or line graph. You could then animate it with standard effectors. Might be nice if you could choose colours within the chart object, instead of having to use shader effectors or whatever.

Would anyone else find this useful?

Yeah, it would be cool :)
