Hello. are there any programs out there that can import a max scene, and then you can rotate and zoom the objects in the scene. I have tried Alteros 3D but it has very limited support for .max files. It does support .3ds files, but when I, in 3d max, export to 3ds format the texture information (procedurals and bitmaps) are not exported. Any suggestions how can get around this? I have a client that not have 3d studio max, but they want to show their clients the 3d model I have made, interactive.

Hope I have explained myself clear :)

Try this one

the software wss called "3D exploration enterprise", now they call it "deep exploration"
I used trial, and it had opened most of my max files regulary
As I remember, it doesn`t support Vray materials and such 3rd party renderers shaders and textures.

Sounds interesting :) Thanks for the tip, I'm going to try this one out oo. I've tried 3D pHoto Browser but all it doesn is show tiny thumbnails of the max files, the 3D Studio Max plugin to be able to view it more thouroughly (rating, zoom etc) doesn't seemt o work
