View Full Version : Character: Daredevil
Chaosphere 01-29-2003, 01:21 AM Here goes DD.... Made in 3DS Max 5.0, I plan on animating him once I rig him, and I plan on rigging him once I finish him..... He has no eyes yet... not like he needs them  he's blind anyway... His torso is a little odd looking from the light tracer, but I have to touch that up, I may do a lipsinc... not sure how complex I'll make him. He will probably be fun to animate though.
Oh.. and no wire-frame... its pretty messy :p
Enjoy
Big thanks to ANTON! for letting me use his web space

Great start! I love DD. I used to read those comics all the time as a kid.
Very nice comic/cartoon style on this as well. Can't wait to see some more.

Your modeling skills are solid, I am certain this character is going to look great when it's done. Already looking fantastic; keep up the good work!
I used to have a roommate that had a Daredevil poster, so I can relate to your love for this superhero. :-!

I agree with the lips need fixing, it kinda looks like a smile. I dont think you want someone like daredevil running around with a friendly smile on his face.

I want to see more updates on this Daredevil character! Please? :-!

OK about the updates.....
So far Daredevil has bones in him, and Everything is Rigged except his arms, hands, and head.....
I am working on some morph targets here and there for expressions, but he might not have them anyway.....
Textures.... I may keep him simple and cartoony like he is now, i never really did a style like this, and the GI really helps it.....
Once hes all rigged and skinned ill throw ya guys som poses, and then some animation soon after....though i haven't animated in quite awhile, and there are a few tools i have not really worked with before, like the bulge gizmos, and the other ones. So it will kinda be a learning process for me with those tools, but i'll still sport some quality 307 animation.
It's going slow, but it's getting there.

maybe some simple textures, or advanced falloff maps for color may aid his appearance so he isnt so bland.... I dunno, good modeling, cant wait to see him animated.
