His knees won't bend very well when you animate him. Those things in the back will get in the way and intersect when you get around to rigging him. It looks like you have about 5 degrees of knee rotation before you have a problem.
You should sketch out your character first in some different poses. It will help you to envision design problems.
7 hours seems a bit long for what you've gotten done so far. Did you have an initial sketch of what you were trying for or did you just sit down and start making it up as you went?
I'm not trying to be harsh. This is just what I'm seeing.
A lot of people just sit down and think that they'll make something amazing without a real design to shoot for. Even Michelangelo and DaVinci sketched their sculptures before they proceeded. It's really necessary.

I have plenty of sketches but no scaner. This is only my second model so as fas as times goes it will get shorter and shorter as I continue. I am pleased with the result so far. I did notice the knee but, haven't had time to fix it. I appreciate the feed back.
