View Full Version : OT : ARCHI // From Scratch to final result
Aurety 09-10-2006, 11:54 AM This is the first time a customer send me the final result from a project I did some times ago. I'm very happy ( and my arch-designer customer too :-) ) to consider how it's closed with the reality finally and how Cinema 4D does the perfect job for this. Here's the pictures I did with cinema 4D 9.6 - Advanced render and the photographies he send me back after two month of building. The first serie is the "before-project " pictures I received to build the room. I had too some paper plans...
I thought that it will be nice to show yours "before-after" projects here if you have.

Love the before and afters – they confirm the value of cg as a design tool as well as a sales tool. Very nice job on the cg and thanks for posting.

Hey Aurety! I think I remember seeing you post some renders of this a ways back. Awesome to see the final result! Expecially a final result looking so darn close to the renders. Fantastic work as always :)

Hey Aurety - looks great! The photos do look bizzarely Cg - wierd eh! You ask for final results from projects, i think this is my closest c4d/real life comparison..
Steve
edited - found better render.

Thanks ThePriest !
Thanh you Continuumx ! That's funny ! When I saw your message, I was on phone with a new customer ( I hope ) who saw this work on my website, and ask for some details.:bounce:
SteveB : You're right, it's pretty close ! Great job. Such a great argument to sell the final package and place your work too. Thanks to share !
And I don't have any PShop correction on the photos, that's why I'm pretty happy here !

Very nice. I definitely had to look twice to tell which was the render and which was the photo.
HI AURETY,
Wow man,
that just looks seriously amazing !!
Uhm.. but I wondered are those renders 100% 3d or is anything composited. I guess it's all 3D since you pointed out there's no Pshop correction done...
I'm speechless... could you show a wireframe render please ?

Great work Aurety. It shows how sometimes 3D can do a better job than photography. In the first (big) photograph, it would be very difficult to control the green tint of the light in the background.

Thank you AdamT,Jorge et UP...
There is any composited stuff on the CG Pictures ( if I except retouch of the contrast and minor GI splotchs - normal post prod work ). No retouch too on photographies, that's why I was very surprised and enjoyed to receive them, and showing the result here.
@ UP - I do some renders for wireframe and without textures ( masked by Mr Vue Plugin from Majoul ). I forget to reactivate the HNs for the picture 2 ( AO style render ), so some lines are a bit straights :-)
Sorry for the purists of modeling, my wireframe is not a good reference, this is due to export geometry from Sketchup to Cinema 4D.
Thanks for all your kindwords, all ! I have submit one of my coloured renders post above, 2 months ago on the Maxon Gallery but never received any news or something else to tell me they don't need this kind of picture, so it's great to have those nice comments. :D

BUMP! I agree as well, these are the kind of images that are proof of product. I think these are absolutely the best interiors done with C4D that I have seen.
