Hi there!

My first "real" post at this incredible forum of artists!
Here is one of my WIP work. Starting on the colouring now and working layer by layer, hehe.

"Violent New Breed II”
The second image of a series of four. Well I like to work on a few at the time so I don’t get bored. I know it sounds strange, but it’s how I work, hehe. J

First step was to sketch the idea up of course, then add the rough details.
Second of all was to prepare the layers and plan the image.

I decided to use Cinema 4D for the city in the background. I started to sketch it up in PScs2 but realised that it would take too long to finish. A rough model, modelled in C4D and some lightning to help it on the way. Then I paint the textures in PScs2.

Right now I'm working on the boots and the girl. Well it’s a start anyway. I’ll post some more until the final peace is finished.

Data:
Software: Photoshop CS2, Cinema 4D
Approximately ten layers of sketch, textures, colour etc.
Imagesize: 9922x5262 px, 300 dpi.
Why the size?
Well my plan was to slice it in different peaces, for details; I also wanted to work on the small details directly. Third thing, it’s going to be printed.

Hi there!
At last my little boy sleeps. Now I can start with the background. I have just finished the first part of the rendering. Now its time to add some details in the dirt and cracks. So far so good.
Best.

Lookin good. Nice concept.

Keep it up and i will continue to watch.
Only think i can comment on is that her left arm seems out of place. it just appears from her hair to her head. However where her shoulder would be and where her arm comes us seem to be in two different locations. I would suggest moving it a bit to the right. Placement is key.
