I've spent the past few years learning : 3DS MAX, then Maya, then Blender, went back to Maya, and for about 2 days I am using/learning. Cinema4D.
I am NOT an expert in any of this packages...since I only do 3D work occasionally. After only 2 days, I have found Cinema4D to be the best choice for me.
What I just wrote has nothing to do with my problem, but I figure I'll get less flames for this post if I explain that I'm not a total newb and I know I should do a search before I ask questions.
So..that beeing said..I want to do a simple icecube / glass scene.
In Maya I would use the LGlass v2 shader, which is by far the best glass shader I've ever seen. For the ice cubes I would use the same shader, and with some tweeking(set IOR to clear ice IOR etc..) I would make it look something like an icecube.
But I can't seem to find a similar material for Cinema4D.
I've spent the last 5 hours browsing through search results and I still can't find a downloadable scene / material setup for some nice looking glass.

Any help / hint is very welcomed. Thanks alot.
Cheers

Actually, there are many glass recipe shaders out there.
Here's a site with quite a few:

http://www.maxon.net/~deepshade/shader/shaders/mineral/ix_min3.html

Also, SLA shaders were used heavily a while back and can be mixed
with the improved material settings in the recent Cinema releases.

Hope this helps you on your way ......

Thanks.I've already saved the deepshade clear glass material, but it's a ".sit"(I'm assuming MAC archive), and I use Windows.I'll ask some of my friends to extract the contents and I'll have a look at it.
