Hi everyone. This is my first post here but I've been meandering through these forums for quite some time now. I am submitting a low poly diablo environment still with a story as my competition entry. Here is a image of my wip 3K poly scene. And my story.
A Prelude to Diablo III
"Look around. There will be many among ye afflicted. How will you escape being sentanced to hell? As my soul faints within me, I am rejoicing in the hope that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all the things that shall come to pass. Take ye heed. For ye know not where the darkness leads. I have seen it firsthand when the light falls down before the darkness, having everyone possessed by the evils who had defeated them. . .
The heathen had taken
for inheritance the uttermost parts of the earth
for their possession. And I came near
and stood at the foot of the mountain,
while the mountain burned with fire
to the heart of heaven,
wrapped in darkness, cloud, and gloom.
O How I remember the cloud and the darkness!
And the fires lit up the night
without one coming near the other all night.
Soon the heathen had trespass to the holy mountain
and made unrighteous shelter in my house, the watchtower.
The burnt offerings and sacrafices were lost upon the altar,
for this house was no longer a source of light for all people.
They have made it a den of thieves.
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up
as if ye were smelting ores in some great furnace;
The air was darkened
and the sky twists a greenish hue.
They come to snatch away the good seed that was sown into our hearts. This is a weed sown along the path that they will not turn from, but spread from, like the grave that enlarges its apetite and opens its mouth without limit; into it will descend their nobles and masses with all their brawlers and revelers. I exhort therefore, for all sons of the kingdom, for kings, and for all that are in authority, that we rise up from our peacable life in all honesty. For this is good and acceptable to all, who will have all to be saved. I heed that in this battle, ye will send forth light into the darkness."

Some modifications will include but are not limited to: mountains will be slightly different. I will also add a tree, hopefully.
