Salutations...

I made this gun to be used in Unreal, It's supposed to be like a detective's revolver, but reworked into a blaster.

PS: I just realized, I kind of posted a whole bunch of stuff at once in various forums just now. It it like bad form or something to flood cgtalk with junk? if so i apologize.

the skin needs alot of work, its way too cloudy and doesnt compliment the gun at all. check out this site for some tips on how to make decent metal. St.burst.cc (http://st.burst.cc)

You have no ideahow much this helps. The only way I knew how to do stupid metal was the ol' monochrome-noise-plus-motion-blur in photoshop -- yuck.

other than that, is there any hope for it?

theres definatly hope for it, if you got a really nice skin on it, i think it would look quite good.
