View Full Version : new free video tutorials come next week
Hi there
I prepared two new free videotutorials, they will be propably published next week, but only in Czech language, my EN skill is so poor :-(. Is there somebody who can prepare a english commentary based on my own "pseudo english commentary" and english layout?
Topics? First organic modeling based on Hair module - bush or tree creating and second, smoke creating...

I'll be happy to revoice your video tutorials (as long as your english isn't mega crappy ;)). Send me a pm with the details. Personally I think that most people will understand the tutorial because of the english layout, but that can be determined after the release.

That's a fantastic smoke Pavel.
But I was unable to open the animation in a Mac, not even with VLC, had to open it with the PC.

I have used camtasia codec www.techsmith.com (http://www.techsmith.com)
Strange, I installed the Ensharpen codec on my Mac and I still couldn't view the file.

A way to check the used codec for mac.
VLC player usually seems to work better for techsmith vids.
Pc users can check the used codec with a program called G-spot.

I have used camtasia codec www.techsmith.com (http://www.techsmith.com)
The other smoke video (smoke_fedkiw.avi) played fine with VLC.

Howdy,
Strange, I installed the Ensharpen codec on my Mac and I still couldn't view the file.
Since the video is an .avi, you may have to also install Divx. It works fine on my Mac that has Divx installed, but not on my other Mac that doesn't have Divx installed. Both Macs have the Techsmith codec installed.
Adios,
Cactus Dan
