Title: Halo: Master Chief
Name: Hugh Johnson
Country: United Kingdom
Software:

Modeled and rendered in 3DS Max. Dust and scratches added in photoshop.

I tried a few different poses, but went for the old classic in the end.

I agree, it looks very cool. Perhaps the thing out of place is the integration with the background, other then on the visor the fire is not reflected on the armour. Even if the fire is mostly from behind, i suppose there should be some coloration of the strong red/orange/yellow flames on the armour and the underside of the guns.

The shoulderpart could use some camfers coz it looks very polygonal now, other than that he looks nice though I agree about the background and I would like to see a different pose other than the retail one :P

The picture expresses much Action. The armament is cool, but the texture is not realistic enough in my eyes. Because i seek myself for a realistic tex for a armor.... ;-)

I like it.

But like the others said, there's something about the background.
Chief seems to blend in with the flames somehow.

I also can't say what it is as I'm just an audio guy, but the model itself looks very cool.
