Hi.
I'm trying to box model a head in Wings3d (female, albeit a very homely one so far) and I'm curious about several things: I don't have enough edges to model an ear. Is there a way to add edges to this area without creating tons of additional edge loops? How should the edges flow toward the rear head/neck juncture? Are the edges that make up the tip of the nose flowing in the proper direction?

Thanks for any help.

Your edge loops are just fine, you can add few more loops around mouth and eyes.. and finish his nose, but loops are ok. For ear, you can model it and than connect it to the head, connect it for corners so you don't need to make extra loops around whole head, it's not that bad and if you have some triangle around the ear.

Only thing here what you need to change (very little) is neck, that muscle. Keep up
