thought i'd give this a try. i know it's a little late. i started on it about a week ago but didn't wanna enter unless i thought i could at least finish up the modeling portion. now i'm almost done modeling the head of my character so i figured i'd go ahead and post. will up some pics tomorrow! wish me luck :)

o yeah, the character is of a 4 winged half dead cat! haven't thought up of a name for him yet but basically what i've come up with for the story is that a young apprentice wizard cast a spell on a large cat that was getting ready to attack him. the wizard not being fully trained yet cast a spell that went wrong. the cat fleed and thru out the next few months it's skin began to decay in places and it sprouted wings as well. i'll probably elaborate and change the story up thru out the modeling process as i get more time to think about it :)

boy, really had to dig to find my post again heh. anyways, been awhile since i said i was gonna do this thing and i have been workin' on it so i'll just go ahead and post a few things real quick. not sure how the drawings will come out as i can't find the plugin to my scanner so had to take quick grabs with a camera. probably look pretty crappy but i figured it'd show some sorta effort :)

You going to add some hair to it, or maybe going for the undead look? I personally think that stretched decaying skin would look pretty cool.

I wish my models came out like that. can't wait to see the wings though

nice... wierd...but nice...
It needs a budweiser coat and a pony keg attached to it's back... then it would be complete.
