Personally, I am sick of seeing every other short at my school about ninjas "it's gonna be cool! it's gonna have ninjas!" but I trust the ppl here can do some great stuff...

Too true, it doesn't say when this was first posted, but it doesn't appear they are giving people that much time. I wonder what kind of quality they are expecting from a two-three week project or so?

it would have been great if i knew about this a while ago. But with two weeks to the deadline the only ninja i can make is the invisible ninja. and I dont think they'll buy into that :(

I would like to see a movie that's even remotely close to real ninjutsu. I have yet to see the ninja fighting style represented properly. Not to mention that ninjas are falsely portrayed as evil or bad, when historically this is untrue for the vast majority of ninja families.

I was really excited when I read about this contest. Then I saw it was due in a few weeks :sad: . Then I saw I wasn't eligible.:cry: All that prize money gone.

3. ENTRY CRITERIA: Create “the ultimate ninja short film” (live-action or animated) not to exceed 3 (three) minutes in length.

Given the time frame most of the entries will probably be live action.

a tv show about a family of ninjas living in current times, and they are like a mix of japanese yukazi and hong kong mobsters.

and they have to like kill people and stuff

kinda like that HBO show.
