I have done three different setups trying to solve this problem, but no matter how much I try I can't get the MorphBlender effect to happen before the BoneDeform effect!? I know that the order in the Effects List is important but it just doesn't work!? Is this a bug, I doubt (if someone uses this program it should have been discovered months ago), but what the **** is wrong!?
It's so basic to have a morph applied to your mesh before you deform it with bones, but right now I can't do it. ( I did also try SuperBlender with no luck in this area. )

Where is the secret basic button?
Thanks in advance!

works fine for me.

suggest you read up, its not only the order, you also want to check "use pre-deformed points" or something like that.

You know, since most instances probably need pre-deformed points, could someone close to Taron and the guys suggest that its ON by default? This question has been one of the most prevalent since messiah's inception, so it seems like ON might be a good choice.

Even I sometimes forget to hunt it down and check it if I haven't been using messiah for awhile.

Best,
Rick

I always fall for that one too. Some kind of "work by default" mode for morphs and bone deforms would be very nice.

Yes I think it's a good idea to change it by default!

I also think it could be more obvious to set a similar flag from the MorphBlender effect?:wise:
Because in this case, it was only in the MorphBlender effect I was searching for that checkbox. I never thought it should be in the BoneDeform effect, when the bones worked and the morphs did not! Or is this only logic to my (melted) brain?
