Here's my first composite image I have made. I know, kinda silly, but I'm trying to learn how to integrate 3d & photo's and later on videos. Any tips you guys can give me I would greatly appreciate. Also, sorry for the low image quality. Everyone know's about the size limitations...

Oh, I didn't model the ATAT, just tweaked it a little...here's props to who did model it:

That is a great job. But I think it needs a trail of footprints behind it. Maybe some smoking ruins in the distant background. Color and lighting look good to me.

Wow, very nice composite!!!

If you could achive this look, fluidly, with video, you will have achived something really great. And as well as compositing multiple things, like suggested by mike.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking the same thing about the "footsteps"...just not sure on how to go about creating those on a photo....the only way is to draw them with photoshop I suppose...anybody have a better way?

Looks really great, nice comp. One thing I'd like to see is a more dynamic pose. Like aiming at the camera, or shooting at B-wings flying by.

i looooove At-at

i think the leg must be stuck more profoudnly in the ground.
the light and shadows should be more sharp (according to the tree)
maybe the focus point is not good ( the At-at is too sharp)
and yeah footprints (try to do it on ps)
and looooooots of destruction->make a pass of broken tree in the backround

keep on ---send more At-at

I fthis is daytime then the shadows near the feet should be a lot darker I think and of course flattened trees and footprints would be great? Other than that, it looks cool.
