Just a 2D entry from me this time. I've depicted a lot of grim subjects lately and it seems like a good time to do something more luminous. Please note that the image linked below contains tasteful nudity:

This is meant to be a muse, a goddess of inspiration. She's the one who taps you on the shoulder and brings you out of whatever creative rut you're in as an artist.

Not that I believe in that kind of crap, but it makes a good subject for a picture :)

I do plan to show her feet, but they looked terrible so I fuzzed them out for now . . . I'll probably need to track down some reference for the lower legs, since they're pretty horked at the moment (I'm presently just making this stuff up as I go along). Her neck looks a little lengthy, but its because you can't see the way her torso is meant to be twisting . . . I'll have to think of a way to suggest that while retaining the near wing.

I'm not sure whats going to be in the background yet, but it will more than likely be clouds on top, and a high altitude shot of . . . something . . . down below. Maybe a city at night.

Any feedback is appreciated!

You mentioned that her body is twisting, but something about her torso is buggin me. It looks a little short and thick. And it makes her back look a bit stiff and unnatural.

Also her wing and hair blend together a little too much. Maybe shift the color of one or the other a bit just to separate them out and give a little depth in between.

But I love the mood!
(The dark bottom of the background and the peacefulness of it makes me feel like its underwater. That might be an interesting twist.)
