well if your so new to not fully understand how to use meshsmooth i would sugest doing some more tutorials and learn the basics of meshsmooth at least before modeling a car
try 3dbuzz.com or look in the tutorial post here up top

But I only use meshsmooth on the character im working on. Its first time I use this on a car. I found when i select "smoothing group" its give me a best apparence.

Night... there are tons of examples of how to control the smoothing by adding more geometry. You can easily create creases and whatnot by properly using meshsmooth.
You really don't have many options here so look into some tutorials.

Anyone have a good link to a tutorial explain how use different smooth on a model? Like a side of model use a smooth, but the other side dont use it? I didnt find what im looking for..
Thanks very much :)
I'd suggest to learn how to tweak NURMS and Smoothing Groups...they can give really nice results, with creases etc.
here's an example of what you can do with the SEPARATE BY SMOOTHING GROUPS option, found in the USE NURMS SUBDIVISION (editable poly) or MeshSmooth modifier. Hope it helps!

Doh... it seams someone can read my mind *puts his tinfoil-hat on* :p
I just started modelling the delorean myself 1-2 weeks ago (just spent a few hours atm)t. Also bought the model from Sunstar and an original delorean prospect with blueprints (unfortunately not very exact ones) for additional reference. ;)
Itīs just a cool car and it seams nobody else built this thing before, (and there was way enough time to do so :p). Very funny to see someone else starting at the same time.
Will send a wip-picture when I am back @ home if you are interested.

i will post a pic when i got something cool
If you can post your pic, its can be great!
:)
Well, I want to build the original car. Perhaps I will do some btf modifications later :)

Wow, you beat my delorean! :)
Do you use spline or polygon modeling?

Thanks, hope the final result dont be too ugly :)
If I understand the Meshsmooth, i only need apply smoothing group in edit mesh, and use meshsmooth with the option smoothing group?
Because when i play with this option, its change in the meshsmooth, but isnt give me the same result you have in your screen. Any tips? :)
thanks
