Title: apocalyptic rider
Name: emmanuel shiu
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop
This is a piece I did about an apocalytic rider who is trying to find other people in the city, and instead he runs into the enemy. I did this piece in Photoshop and I was experimenting heavly with custom brushes. I usually use some 3d in my work to help lay out the perspective but in this case I really didn't need to. The character was the hardest part in this painting as characters are always quite a challenge for me! Hope you enjoyed this piece and please leave any feedback that you might have! There' will be mor eto come!

Very nice image. I like the pose, the colors and the mood of the image
I think if you rotate the image 10 degrees counter clockwise you can enhance the dynamic feeling of the image a lot! Currently the horizontal orientation of the "camera" cuts off a bit of the motion. Try it out and you´ll also see that it´ll be much better then :)

Nice pic, The colours were what attracted me to take a look. The pose and idea is chosen well.
I agree with ACantarel that a slight rotation will give an extra dynamic and sense of movement to it increasing the action you ve already created really well.
Also the design work on the character and bike is cool, I like the chunky look.

I agree with Cantarel about rotating the image.
Otherwise, really nice moody lighting, very well done!
You've captured such a dynamic moment here - excellent lighting and water effects too - top notch!

the bike design has a lot of 80ies sci-fi feel in it! and i like it a lot.
but there's something wierd happening to his legs, his right leg seems to be a bit higher than it should.

Thank you for your feedback, but just wanted to say that I did consider a dutch angle or slightly more off axis but in the end I prefered not to do that as doing it would make it look unnatural and have a feeling of falling over. Thank you for your feedback anyhow!
