Hi...
I know this is a total noob thing to ask but...then i am a noob:)
Ahem!...how do u do a preview of ur animation in xsi like maya's playblast feature.
or is there another way to cache my viewport or something???
Just cant seem to find it...
I see flip book ...which loads up image sequences but how do i shoot out a preview of animation with playback as close to the intented frame rate as possible ...so i can check anim timing etc???

press the camera icon in the viewport (camera) you want to make the preview from, and choose "start capture". Another option is to press the "All" button in the bottom, which will then change to RT (realtime), thus if necessary, when playing it will skip frames to provide realtime playback.
