how can it bee that I cant render when I push the render botton it says

// Error: Current Renderer does not support render //

and if I wanna axxes the render global it says

// Error: Render Globals Window not defined in the current renderer //

what version of Maya?

what renderer are you using?

i guess this is because the beta mental under maya 4.5.

if i'm correct, then hit render. you get this message, and the renderview shows up. swith to mental ray in it, then switch back to maya, and hit render. it should work!

maya 4,5 under win2K render mental ray 1,5

NeonGuy that dosent work have tryed it

but its only some time it does it got a project its rendering fine but if I open a new scene the the error comes

Go into windows-->rendering editors-->render view...Change to maya Renderer....then switch back to Mental ray renderer..should work.

It's just a little bug..nothing big.
