View Full Version : Quadro 1500M or 2500M?

Hi!
I finally decided to get me a M90 Notebook from Dell, the only thing left to decide is if a Quadro 2500M is worth to get compared to a 1500M. The 2500 has 512MB, the 1500M 256. I will be mainly using the Notebook for Maya. Will there be a really significant increase in speed with the bigger one?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I didn't check how much more $ is 2500 but in my opinion it's not worth it. Just check this:

I got the same impression, for example here http://www.spec.org/gpc/opc.data/vp9/maya-perf.html
the difference in the performance seems to be very little. The biggest difference i could make out, is the power consumption, wich is more than twice as much...
so i'll probably go for the 1500
