Plasma will import bipeds just fine. You won't be able to animate them in there, that much as to be done via MAX, but the animation itself will (aka. should) survive.
I made my own rig once that didn't survive the trip to Plasma though, I think the program is missing a constraint or two, and a few MAXscript-features.

1) File -> Open
2) Find and select the .max file.
3) Left-click on Open.
4) Wait for file to load, then press Play.
:rolleyes:
At least as far as I know.

jon i downloaded plasma from the net. probably its not talking biped because of that... its not authorised yet....
is it because of that. when i opne it again opens a window with a prompt saying that so and so is not supported by plasma and what it does it replaces the file with the default ...
hey jon ...help me!!!!

peter,
here's a quote from the plasma-demo download page:
"This product trial software is made available for demonstration and evaluation purposes only. The trial uses a unique file format and is save-disabled. The tutorials and help files provide the only assets that will be readable in the trial version of plasma software."

I've reached the end of my limited Plasma experience, sorry Peter. It is my understanding that a Biped is opened in Plasma just fine, it will simply interpret the Biped as moving boxes. Notice that I don't think Physique works in Plasma, but you can use Skin instead.
If your intended goal is to render out to Flash, I suggest you find the file "FlashRenderer.gup". It should be in a folder with two other files (SW3D_Exp.dle and swfview.exe). Add that folder to the Plugins path in MAX, and voila, you can render out to Flash just as you can from within Plasma.
Oh and I'm from Denmark Peter, the tiny spec of unworthy chalk somewhere off the coast of Germany :)
