Looks like an insect...something like a beetle or an ant ! Is it your goal for your modeling ?

Well P.Delapouite,
My intention was to create a funny, poky character in max using surface tools.

Once I findout his sunsign maybe then I will be more specific on the looks.(heh he)

Thanx for your critz, as this will help me refining my update.

shanks,
the charachter does have that poky thing going on...but u'll need to build on that plenty.

1) symmetry...loose it.

2) bay rait once said something about not forgetting the beautiful effects gravity can have on the body...u'll need that as well.(cheeks, smile etc.)

3)nose area seams to have a seam/ridge.

he's got the cutsy look, u'll just have to develop him anatomically...that reminds me i've got your excellent roger peck book :p .May be i better return it.
