I decided to try some zbrushing and came up with this thing, dunno if i'll finish, but it was loads of fun.
This is the basic high res source for the normal map:

Lost: Thanks :D...i have a timelapse vid when i built a zombie head, just the rough stage tho. For this creature i modified the zombie's topology to make it very generic (got rid of the nose too) then i messed around with it in zbrush. Not perfect but worked out ok.
Unfortunately i dont have a place to host the vid.

worked on my head twice over the weekend and I've got down the high poly, I constructed it in silo 2 "beta" (SILO ROCKS! HAHA) I think I'll do the hole character eventually but for now this one piece should be great for the mini gac.

Here's a test for the normal map. Low res stands @ 986 tris. If i'm not too lazy i'll add more definition and get started on the texture.

Hanzo, looking good silo looks like a lot of fun:) . you generate the normalmap in silo.
Psyk0, I'm digging this already, I just love that face.

I did a base mesh in max, about 700 tris, imported it on zbrush and did above image, tried to generate a normal map from zbrush, I successfully did so but had a weird problem trying to make the normal map work. I couldn't find a appropiate shader that will make my map show.
I ended up with a 300k tris head  and a 512* norm. map

tintin50: thanks man :) and silo is alot of fun, I'm using an external normal generator to make the maps for my work, silo 2 will be able to do this but right now we can only use beta though it's still kickass!
Psyk0: nice stuff dude I love the style of the face molding on the normal map, I can't wait to see the final result keep cracking.
