Hi Folks:

I have two gears on my scene .. İt is just a basic scene to make practice about wire parameters controls and expressions. All I wanna do is moving these two gears by rotating one of them.I connected them to each other. I used Z axis and changed the rotation value from degree to Rad. İt works but there is something wrong. They reacts on the same directions and it is not as realistic as I wanna achive .. These two gears are supposed to get rotated on opposed directions. What can I do to fix it?? İf you can help me; I'll be so happy ..

The opposite direction can be achieved by multipling with -1.

I am sorry but please forgive me.. As I said before, this scene is just for studying to learn how to use Scripting and expressions in Max.. I've researched for many times but I have been able to find nothing so far... Than I tried asking you guys.. What should I write or which way do I use scripting something like that.. You can suggestc me a tutorial or something that can be helpfull for this process...

Thank you again..

...And you were told to multiply the value by -1 (or just add - in front of the expression in the Wire dialog to invert the direction of rotation!).
I think the answer is here. I don't know what else you want to read...
