industry graphics anounces the second volume of the "materials" texture-CD-line, containing an extensive collection of natural wood textures. They are completely made of real photos tailored to the needs of the 3D production. You will find seamless textures and also Bump-Maps on the CD. The textures mirrors a realism you can only find in the real nature. Many of the woods are stressed and aged at different levels. Scratches and cracks, bleached or flaked colors, dirty or mossy edges makes your work varied, unique and credible. the texture pack is available at www.realtexture.com as one cd jpg version or as 2 cds containing losless tiff files.

I thnk there is something wrong with those sample files.
I tried to browse them with explorer and it crashed explorer and then I thought it might be my XP setup and tried it with Photoshop and it crashed photoshop also.Are the samples .tif or .jpeg files?

hi,

hm, strange thing, everything works fine here, i tried it on several pc's (2k, xp) with xnview, acdsee, explorer, gimp and photoshop. the files are normal jpg files. should work on any system. can you open the zip archive? maybe it's broken.

The zip opens but when explorer starts thumb-nailing them it freezes.
I will download them again and see if I can open them.

Edit:Yep,must be my explorer,I went inside the zip and got them out that way...but theyre all watermarked so theyre not much use unless I mangle them.

BTW:If iI get my other projects finisged I really want to make something for your texture contest.Looks like fun!
