View Full Version : Question about spline bounding box in max 5
Northchild 01-26-2003, 10:35 PM Hi all,
I've started on Steed's low poly character modeling book. Does anyone know how I can turn off the annoying bounding box whilst I'm creating lines in max 5.1?
Thanks again!

Hey, I'm new too! I just keep telling myself that I'll never get a chance to be this laid back about 3D modeling again because I've got no deadlines. :)
No-go on the viewport configuration settings, it didn't work out for me. Thanks anyway.

Splines (and geometry objects) will show a bounding box when in shaded mode. They don't when in Wireframe mode (so it is in the Viewport settings after all, but the name is different ;))
The default shortcut used to be F3 to switch between shaded and wireframe mode. If it isn't on your machine, right-click the viewport name and set the mode to Wireframe.
