Hi all. Im getting ready to graduate soon from a game art program and realized I havent been very good at getting active in non school forums. So heres a couple of pieces I am working on based from some concepts of Mythic Warhammer MMO stuff. Let me know what you think. I look forward to getting to know you all, and learning more about your forums and your art.

Very nice work JamusT! What a war machine. I like the handpainted look of the textures and the reich detail. The topology is clean and the polycount more than reasonable. If you planed to do a normal map and/or specular map for this guy you maybe painted a bit too much highlights/shadows into some parts of the armor. I would also edit the teeth a bit - they are too yellow imo. Some parts of the texture are very clean and with a good resolution - others are a bit to distorted/low resolution like the scale armor under the right arm. On the left thumb you have a visible color seam. This is all about details - I hope you don't mind; I like the ugly guy a lot.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for the critique Espen. I was learning a lot when I did this model, I think youre right on in your assessment. I think I accidentally faded some parts of him when I did my touch ups. Unfortunately I accidentally destroyed my photoshop file. I want to go back in to fix him eventually though. I wasnt planning on normal mapping him, but I have had a couple people at school suggest dropping him into zbrush so I may do it for fun after I finish my demo reel. Right now its all about finding the mistakes and trying to graduate. Thanks for taking the time to send me feedback, and good to meet you. =)
