Why III? Is it the third time this topic's chosen?
Great first pic btw. Downwrdspiral, and yet so simple...
EDIT: Hadn't noticed how fast we've reached the 80'000 daily sketches line :)

About an hour and 25 minutes ( or more because I fight with my computer a lot today) in photoshop with wacom tablet. After deadline, I work on chessboard. Looks like someone else in here had the same idea as me..just with tic-tac-toe! I painted very fast so now my hand hurts. I don't know anything about chess, but I think the monkey is winning? Lol. Sorry for bad robot, he is first I paint ever.
First post is very good! I like because it is a line drawing. But it makes me sad. I like monkeys!
http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/3198/monkeyeu6.pngLOL a really quicky just about 6min
well just a few sec longer than the song i was listing to .."Voxtrot -Missing Pieces"
lol its a good song.
Well it was done on good Old MS-Paint with my mouse. I hope ya like it. {<>,<>}
Fantastic RELM.. I love it
thats I cool image well done !:)!
Thank you! Yes, my hand hurts very bad, I really like painting it though. I have been paying so much attention to painting people, I forgot how fun it is to paint other things. My people suck anyway, maybe I should just paint monkeys until I die.
Lman, I really like yours, and the colors! Does that monkey have a laser coming from his head?

As a final effort to persuade the monkeys to embrace a more technological lifestyle, the robots recast themselves in the likeness of the primates...

Hi all, I am new to CGTalk as well as digital painting. I've been reading the forums for a couple of weeks now, and you guys inspired me so much I got myself a wacom tablet. I know my entry looks bad, but please bear with me. I hope to improve with regular participation.

I drew this on an envelope at a friends house. Blurred out the company name. Heavily inspired by a post by MechaHateChimp here (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3811445&postcount=128)
About 30min, with crappy coloring

50 mins, still painter, still trial
http://web.axelero.hu/ceze1/monkezdesat.jpg
I'm aware it's falling backwards, but at 40 mins it had no feet and I just zoomed out at the time and saw the unbalancedness of it, so no time to do anything about it.
Also I wanted to do so much more mechanical stuff, but a, I can't paint and b, no time.
In case you can't see, he is opening his chest and there is a mechanical body underneath. He is also not very happy about it.
Edit: Changed it to a bit less saturated version, so add +30 sec :)

boy I miss the dsg - I had to spend some time sketching and got carried awa
after trying a few poses here i was at 40 min.
http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/2815/robovsmonkeywq4.jpg
and then I spent some more time(another hour and a half ) and really got into the zone - I feel bad I turn into a filter monkey after I get the pose down because I am not very familiar with coloring. oh well fun topic
