A. Intergrated net renderer for studio pro, I would buy it/upgrade asap.

B. Support for Silos new .sib format (silo binary) including the displacement. Would be really cool too skip the need of displacement or normalmaps. Just import the .sib file choose the subdiv level for the render and the displacement is right there when your render. :bounce:

I wish we could soon have all the stuff on the current bug- and wishlists in m:studio 3.0 (m:animate also updated of course).

But more specifically, I wish for unlimited User Defined Surface Lists and related render queue. A Net Render Manager should be able to read this scene-specific render queue and render the multiple passes automatically.

Taron has mentioned that is one of the things he wants to do. Course that doesn't always translate into an added feature but at least we are all on the same page.

Thanks for the info.

On the other thing how many of you use Silo, just curious..

If the .sib format import where implented (with the displaceinfo) Iīm pretty sure pmG would get a load of Silo users buying Messiah..:D

My wishist is to address the bugs, to have a navigation scheme that is an extension of LW.
Maybe even have selectable navigation styles ALA modo, that would behave like your native app of choice.

Another biggie is more robust SBD with better collision with IK displaced objects.

Some kind of solution to gimbal lock.

and last but not least... HAIR!!!

in general, my wish is for more effort towards CA side of messiah.

It would be nice if Messiah supported ngons. It's bad practice to have them but the model shouldn't get completely distorted when you subdivide it. :P

I'm a Silo user...it'd be intersting if it had .sib support but I'm fine with loading displacement maps still. Although yes, it would be cool to say have your viewport set to 0 subdivision but render time have it kick up to the full detail.

oh yeah I also wish to be able to cancel a render during the "emitting photons" stage.

and to cancel a render during the micropoly displacement stage

just curious....why is Point Oven so heavily relied upon as a means
to actually export, rather than native support for .fbx or collada?
(and export doesn't seem to be a "request")

Is there some other secret to getting either bone data or mesh
transformations into a game engine? (I'd love to have messiah
as my CA tool for the indie game engine Beyond Virtual , but see
no way to achieve this...)

cheers for any insight. :)

Cool! A wishlist thread...

When you switch to the Render module, there's a delay in the operation and everything else you're doing (like listening to music, etc) because of M:S loading the render samples/previews.

Is there a way to change the preview size, disable it entirely or to have the option to preview only the material one's working on? For a single row of materials its not that much of an issue, but if one had a huge list of them, then thats a long wait for previews.

Im not sure if this happens to everyone, but sure does on mine.

Any thoughts/workarounds?

My current project has a huge material list and it becomes a drag to switch to the Render tab to render. I quickly switch to the Output subtab so that the material balls don't go through their display thing in the Material subtab. I haven't thought of an elegant solution, but I'm sure something can be done to ease the pain. :) Keep the material ball images in memory instead of reading them in each time?

Great!! a wishlist

My first wish is for Marek  please, please!! make a videotutorial series about your techniques of rigging, or simply ... about the expresions and armatures :)

My second wish, is to have the possibility to work with metanurbed uvīs, this is one of the reasons by which I usually donīt make my final renders in messiah

Thanks
