View Full Version : Self Collision Detection

Is there a way in Cinema to implement self collision detection? I need to prevent my character's calf from going into its thigh as it walks. I know Dynamics can do it among separate objects, but I need one object to NOT intersect itself.

For soft body tags under the colission detection tab/pulldown, you can select full + self. But I think if you key a bone to bend that far it will override the collision, I've never tried it.

I've always thought this was a problem around the elbow/inner arm where the forearm touches the bicep...
