Title: Beowulf and Grendel (warning: Gore)
Name: Noel D. Hill
Country: USA
Software: Painter
From the anglo-saxon epic, transcribed into a poem about a thousand years ago, I've painted Beowulf and Grendel. I've always wanted to paint this scene and have had an absolute blast with it. I did take a few liberties with the setting as in the original story, Grendel ambushes Beowulf in the Mead hall while he pretends to sleep. I wanted to be a little more epic and most of all, wanted to depict the ravaged country side that Grendel had plagued.
Let me know what you think. I'm really trying to step up my game and would really appreciate the constructive feedback.
Thanks.

P.S. Yes, you did see an earlier version of this.
