Title: Corsair Kill
Name: Anders Lejczak
Country: Sweden
Software: CINEMA 4D
This is a 2nd render of my Corsair model - this time together with a japanese Ki84 (in the background). Shaders and light have been totally reworked.
Modeled and rendered with C4D. Smoke painted in post.
More renders of these 2 models and some meshes and WIPs are avaialble on these pages:

Two very well done planes. The Corsair textures are very smart - not too worn and not factory new. The post added smoke trail appears to be just that and detracts a tad from the image. However, overall an excellent piece - good job!

I spent too much hours playing Pacific Fighters to not like this image
Superb models and composition. My only crit is that specular seems a bit high and constant. I´ve seen the specular map you used on your web and I think you should try doing it acording to the fuselage panels, i mean more specular on the center and gradient it to a low value in the end of them. I hope I´m explaning well :)
Anyway GREAT work

Very nice indeed.
Only crit is the slight plastic toy look. Like Guillermo said, maybe vary the specular a bit.
Or perhaps try a bit of reflectivity on the plane, with a slight crinkly noise on the bump map.
Also might check that the cowl flaps are flat or curved. To me they look kind of faceted, especially the one catching the light.

Great pic. Specularity sometimes can be difficult to really nail I know I rarely do. Great stuff. Now how about the Crusty the clown and pokemon version.

Really nice composition, render and subject matter. Looks really good.
Only small crit from me is I think the Corsair looks too glossy/plasticy.
