CGTalk - 2 video cards ?

Hi,
I've got an AGP ATI Radeon 64Mo DDR VIVO as my primary video card.
I want to buy a second card, a PCI Matrox G450 dualhead, just to allow me to output the video from Premiere's preview window to a tv and then record it to tape in real time. So my pc's monitor is plugged to my ATI and my TV will be plugged to my Matrox.

My question is : does it cause problems to have 2 different video cards on the same pc ? Especially about the drivers, will it work on Windows (XP pro) ?

yes, the setup you describe will work.

windows XP is certainly the best microsoft OS to use when playng with more than one video card. microsoft have added a few features to XP on their side like independant refresh and resolution settings that up until now was the card manufacturer's domain.
