Hi,
here (http://www.droidzland.com/temp/weak_v3.mov) is an animation I'm working on. It's a blocking-plus version. Atm I'm ready to move into splining but if I can get some kind of feedback it would be very helpful.
Cheers.

Andrea

P.S.: it's a .mov file encoded with H.264 compression

I had to watch it a couple of times before I understood what it was about.
For instance it was hard to see that he was examining something that was in his hands, think hes lookin way too much to the sides for something so close.

And maybe he could do some movement to "admit" his defeat, (when you see both at the same time), just before he puts the milk(?) back. Like shaking his shoulder, or "keep shifting one's gaze" (im swede, had to translate that:)).

And maybe the other dude could give him the evil-eye before hes saying "thats what makes you weak", as its a strong sentance.

Otherwise i think you have a great start on the animation. There is alot of expression in the characters faces and poses.

Hey Håkan,
thanks for your feedback.
Unfortunately the whole milk fact is not so easy to spot unless I render the scene. Anyway I want it to not be clear until the second shot, when the labels over the shelves are shown, the first shot serves to build up some expectation.
Bye.

And finally here is a polished version of the tanned guy body controls.

I hope you can give me some clues on how to improve it.
Cheers.

Looks good. The only thing is that at the beginning he looks really surprised and that expression goes for too long. His face should move more.

Finally the animation on the bodies is done and final. I'm going ahead now with the facial animation. Atm it's really ugly and it's only representative of the key emotions so just don't mind the faces when watching the animation.
I've never done something asking for so subtle acting and I don't think I'll be asked quite often to do such kind of work.
Here it is (http://www.droidzland.com/temp/weak_v5.mov).
