View Full Version : Closing threads about Lyle
Panikos 08-27-2006, 02:16 PM I'd like to express my sorrow for the news.
Lyle is a great developer, a nice chap that was around the forums often paying attention to the user comments and requests.
Definitely a loss for messiah :(
I am sure that his course will be succesful though
I wonder why threads about this topic are closed immediately. Nobody blamed anybody.
At least pmG should officialy put an announcement of the web, rather than let users find out and guess.
Ok, close this thread too.
Bye

I think the locking of threads is to prevent arguing.
I've been seriously considering purcahsing Messiah, but this stange behavior about this person leaving makes me nervous about investing my $. Seems like the best thing would be to make an announcement that he is pursuing other interests or the like and the company is moving on. Does anyone have any insights as to the future of PMG? I would like a little better warm fuzzy before I plunk down my cash.

mj3, Messiah is fantastic app, using it since the early minutes or release.
As far as the future, its been sometime that we are all under "home restriction"

Does the program work for you now? Thats the question. If it does. Then buy it.

Messiah was a collaberation of many people not just lyle. Lyle's a good guy and he's made great contributions to messiah which in turn affected the entire industry. I'm sure that messiah's next direction is for the benifit of its users.
Panikos: I'm closing those threads because of the very reaction mj3 had to them. Lyle hasn't really done anything with pmG in about a year now yet we have trucked along just fine. New updates. . . bug fixes etc. People move in and out of companies all the time.
