hehe! Optical image. Can't be really modelled unless the right rectangle or whatever is bent but doesn't look like it is. Must be some photoshop in there :)

:hmm:
looks cool but you can see the seam :D
tweak the lighting a bit to create a seamless shading
and the edge is not 100% linear (top left)

yeah...one time i tried something like that...but harder...
i never knew about klein's bottle...and my big brother asked me if i can model that in 3d...so i just saw a pic of it...and thought heh..why not i`ll model it.....its supposed to be model with 2 sides...and i tired...but its impossible to model it...as i found out later...kleins bottle surface was derived from a math equation and it can only exist in 4-d....
if i dont know what i am talking about....check out some stuff on kleins bottle!
Hey, I remember having modeled the same a long time ago with 3dstudio Dos. Your renders sure looks much better than mine at that time !
gratz !

triangular mobius strip, eh? pretty cool start - could try to make it a lot more complex though.

I too, can see the seam at the top and if the top edge was linear it would be less apparent, maybe some photoshop work can fix the seam, but I think you my need to mess with the angle to align that top edge.
I would like to see some alternate views or wireframes too.
