View Full Version : 'File not found' error loading .lws

Forgive me for asking a stupid question but I cannot get my Lightwave 7.5 layout to bring in a .lws file. All I get is a file not found. I've tried to load off of a cd, off my desktop (different files each time) and all I get is FILE NOT FOUND. Yep I'm a newbie, I am trying to go thru both Inside Lightwave as well as the reference guide but either my brain is mush (3:30 in the morn right now) or there is no tip in either book for correcting the problem. I have MAC 10.1.5 OS and Alot of ram, Don't have a clue what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you certain that you have set up your content directory correctly?

Thanks Leigh for making me check how the directory was set up. I am use to how in Cinema 4d you just click on a file located anywhere and it would load, just got to get use to a different way of thinking. I had it set for just the specific folder I was wanting to load, not the general folder that locates EVERYTHING you need.
Again, thanks for making me check my settings!!!
